Deposits & pending orders

Check with monitor

Coast held about $16.8M in customer deposits. The monitor's view, not yet a court ruling, is that B.C. consumers hold a lien under B.C.'s Sale of Goods Act, while deposits from other provinces are unsecured and recovery is not expected. No refunds were issued. Customers whose in-stock items were assigned to their order could take them by paying the balance. A claims process for B.C. deposits is expected in fall 2026.
